Why not try something new and enhance your enterprise skills?

University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE) is holding this workshop in order to help researchers enhance their personal and research skills through a series of mini-challenges, careers sessions and idea generation with a team of expert advisers. The aim is to help researchers develop all the necessary skills to benefit their current research as well as their future career through a mentored work program.  During the workshop, in teams researchers will have to generate a variety of enterprising ideas and then choose one to develop further.  Business coaches will be on hand to help develop this idea so that by the end of the course each team can pitch their idea to a panel of judges. This will help researchers crystallize their ideas and perfect their pitching skills.

All participants will receive a certificate detailing the course and the skills it has helped them develop.  Along with this there will be the opportunity to develop any ideas created further with the help of University of Sheffield Enterprise . This is a great opportunity for participant to try something new, meet a variety of people as well as enhance their employability and enterprise skills.
