Want to get your research or project presented at an international conference?

The Spring Symposium happens every year in our International Faculty, CITY College in Thessaloniki, Greece.  This symposium covers a wide range of activities including lectures, diverse cultural meetings and workshops on the subject areas of Psychology, Computer Science and Business.

This year the symposium is in its 13th year and will be taking place on the 16th May 2014. The really interesting thing about this event is that it is developed for students by students. Want to see what has happened before? Check out this video.

As part of this, The University of Sheffield Enterprise is looking for the two best student submissions to go to Thessaloniki to present their research to the rest of the symposium. This could be part of your dissertation that you have been working on, a piece of coursework that you have completed or even something that you have completed outside of your course. We will pay for your flights and your accommodation whilst you are there.

Want to get involved? You must complete a two page abstract by May 2014. For further details on how to do this, check out the Symposium website. Once, you have submitted, it will then go to a panel who will select the top papers. The panel will then select the top two applications from The University of Sheffield who will then receive the funding.
