Need commercial awareness skills? Want to enhance your CV? The IBM Universities Business Challenge will allow you to develop your enterprise skills, ideal for when you graduate!
USE has got 6 teams to enter in the IBM Universities Business Challenge. In this event, we are looking for dedicated undergraduate students to take part in our selection activity and the best students will go through to make the USE final teams. Once placed in a team, you will have to meet once a week for six weeks to complete a series of decisions based upon a fictitious business which you will be running. Last year two of our teams went to the semi finals, where you make business decisions within a day based at a graduate recruiter (Such as P&G or Jaguar).
This competition is great for your employability as it will allow you to develop commercial awareness as well as connect with graduate employers to see what they are looking for in their graduate programme employees.
The event is open to all University of Sheffield Undergraduates, from any discipline (not just business and management) and will run on the 7th, 9th and 13th October from 5-8pm at USE. You only need to register for ONE selection event.
