A Winter Wonderland Wander

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… and baby it is indeed cold outside… So why not come inside, join our merry USE interns, and browse at this year’s Winter Wonderland Christmas market!

Here’s an update on all the important details:

Day: Tuesday 2nd of December (Today!)

Time: 12:00 until 17:00 followed by Christmas lights switch-on at 17:30

Venue: Students’ Union – Raynor Lounge & Bar One beer garden

This year we have a wonderful array of goods to boost your Christmas spirit. Our stallholders are selling lots of hand-made goodies including:

Christmas tree with various decorations

I’m all ready for Christmas!

– Christmas cards

– Jewellery

– Make-up & cosmetics

– Candles

– Christmas decorations

– Baked goodies

… and many more!

We are also giving out prizes to both visitors and stallholders!

Three lucky visitors will each receive a voucher entitling them to a free meal for two at the Cavendish. Look out for USE staff, who will be handing out participation cards. The three winners will be picked at random, at the end of the day.

The stallholders will all compete to win prizes for:

– Most profitable stall – two cocktails and two 12’’ pizzas at Bloo88

– Most enterprising stall – free meal for two at The Beehive

– Best decorated stall – ultimate tray and two cocktail pitchers at The Cavendish

– Most enterprising society – two free games for six people at Quasar

There will also be Christmas caroling, festive food and drinks at Interval and at Coffee Revs…

So really, there is no reason for you not to join US(E) for this year’s Winter Wonderland.

See you there!

Hi guys! My name is Maggie, and I am the Embedded Enterprise Intern at USE. I'm studying Biomedical Science, currently in my final, aka the scariest year. In my blog you’ll read about me trying to work out what to do with myself after uni (a common struggle among the final year students). And, as I love being enterprising and savvy with my money (or SLC’s money!), I’ll also write about all the weird and wonderful things you can do to make your funds stretch further… Everyday enterprise - that's what I'm about!
