19 December 2014 - 11:20 am Ways to save money at Christmas time

Anyone who is close to me will know my slightly shameful obsession with Christmas. I love the food, I love the films, I love the music, I love spending time with close ones and I even love the cheesy and outrageously tacky Christmas jumpers.  As you probably can guess, I also love giving presents at Christmas time. I may be an oldie now (in uni terms) as I am just approaching my third and final year here, but like they say, ‘the older you are the wiser you get’. I’m not sure how accurate that phrase is but, for the purposes of this blog post, let’s assume it speaks truth.

I have experienced two fresher’s weeks and one entire fresher’s year so far. I’m guessing that means I qualify to give some tips on how to survive because I am alive and well today after all.

Hopefully these tips will help you. If not, hopefully you’ll find some entertainment in hearing some of my fresher’s mistakes. Okay, here we go.
