This event has passed.

Are you a current student who is a self-identifying woman at The University of Sheffield? Have you ever been interested in leading teams, starting your own business, promoting to a leadership position? Do you want to learn more about how to combat the barriers women face in leadership? Do you just want to change how the world is? Do you want to contribute to society? Then look no further. USE is launching its first ever crash course for Women in Leadership and it’s absolutely FREE to enrol.

The course will run over three days, each day dedicated to a specific theme. Day 1 is all about defining your leadership identity. What kind of leader you are, what traits define your style, how can you develop from here, where do you position yourself against your values. In Day 2, we will explore the barriers to women becoming leaders, including everyday sexism and second generation bias towards women, how we can combat these prejudices and how we can overcome them. Day 3 is dedicated to Taking Action. It’s a learning opportunity on how to network, how to create an action plan, how to define and pursue goals, as well as why it is essential to have a safe space for women in leadership.

Can’t wait to start? Come to our launching workshop on the 15th of February to learn more. Tickets are free, but limited so register now.
