OK, OK, so Startup Weekend already is amazing. We know this. But the next Startup Weekend Sheffield has a little twist and is going to require a whole lotta work… even more than usual. This time, we’re running Startup Weekend with a theme and that theme will be: Music and Literature. Excited? We are. But to make it the best we can possibly make it, we’re going to need help before and after. That means, for the first time ever, we’re recruiting to our organising team. Everyone has ideas. It’s just how humans are. Queuing for a morning coffee, dozing off at a boring lecture, taking a shower… Bam! Great idea!
Or so we think… A couple of days pass and we’ll probably have forgotten all about it. Never mind.
Some, like me, keep idea journals filled with those “wouldn’t it be better if…” lists to capture all those worthless ideas, hoping that the next one will be better. Great! Startup Weekend is back and I couldn’t be more excited! Since our first Startup Weekend in November 2012 (for Global Entrepreneurship Week), I’ve been ADDICTED to startup events, visiting Rio for SoSummit in March, Startup Hacks in Manchester and hosting Product Startup 28 with Gripple in April.
